The impact of Covid-19 to the events industry has been absolutely devastating. Many people in our network have lost their jobs or have been furloughed, including many of our own employees. It’s unbelievable to think about what has happened to the events industry that we loved servicing so much. We understand that it’s the people that we get to work with that makes it so great.
When we made the tough decision to let some of our employees go, we asked ourselves, what could we do to support them? Since we aren’t in a position to hire them back, we decided to help them find another place to work. These are great people who deserve to have great jobs.
As we started to look at ways to help, we thought maybe we could do something for the overall event industry too. During the last couple weeks we put together a six-part video series of how we rocked our LinkedIn profiles to assist others who might need to update their profiles during this time.
